We want to go to medevil times and will be staying in downtown near convention center.Thinking about taking thetrain down there but then wont have car so looking for other options to get around down there without a car.

Los Angeles has the worst public transportation system of any major city in the US. Buses are few and far between, and taxis are also hard to find and cost a fortune because everything is so spread out. Unfortunately, you really need a car there.

According to the Genocide Convention, what should happen to people suspected of genocide?

please provide a link to the site you obtained your information. Thankyou.

Perhaps you mean, "Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide."

According to the Convention, "Article 5
The Contracting Parties undertake to enact, in accordance with their respective Constitutions, the necessary legislation to give effect to the provisions of the present Convention and, in particular, to provide effective penalties for persons guilty of genocide or any of the other acts enumerated in Article 3."

According to the new Iraqi Constitution, genocide is to be punished by death. Which is what happened to Saddam.

And in regards to the comment about Bush, it was the USA for the first time in history, tried, convicted and executed a war criminal as a result of Andersonville Prison. And that gave rise to the expression. "Forgive but do not forget."

What do you think? (the GC is for armed, uniformed soldiers, under the GC spies could be immediately executed.. get it? Spies.. non uniformed, deceitful, dangerous, infiltrated)
Can someone explain how a Soldier.. armed and uniformed fighting for his country HONORABLY is akin to a disguised, despicable terrorist?

Just curious.

Yes but these people need to be disposed of, we can’t just hold them forever. They need to be charged, tried, and executed. They committed crimes and should be treated as criminals.

How did Henri Matisse use conventions of Fauvism in The Red Room?

How did Henri Matisse use conventions of Fauvism in The Red Room?

1)Matisse used warm and cool colors and modeled the objects to create a sense of form.
2)Matisse used one-point perspective and created a deep sense of space.

3)Matisse used overall decorative-patterning and created a flattened sense of space.

4)Matisse showed his political views and his feelings about World Wars I and II through the loneliness expressed by the woman.

The answer would be number one…..since fauvism is all about punchy coloring and painting techniques

Is factcheck.org a "Liberal Media" outlet?

MAN! Look at all those sources at the bottom.
People are ALOT more astute here than in "elections"!!!!

No. In fact, The most recent Factcheck.org article debunks smears against Sarah Palin. No "liberal" website would defend Palin this way. Factcheck.org is independent and very fair.
