There are many mistakes that violin players should avoid which will help to speed up the learning curve for them. You want to keep focused with your violin lessons as this will help you. The first mistake to avoid is the mistake of moving on to each lesson without having properly learned the last lesson which preceded it. Each segment should be played with proficiency, otherwise bad habits will become installed into your unconscious mind and you may be playing with counter productive technique on autopilot. Repeating bad technique may be hard to unlearn in the future. It is best to overcome any mistakes that are vital to a performance as early as possible.
