Technically, there haven’t been any real changes between the 2009 version of the X-Type and its earlier models. The small engines still have front wheel drive and there are still the usual four wheel drive options. However, in 2009 Jaguar added a 2.2 litre automatic to the range – the first time an automatic gearbox has been offered on the Used Jaguar X-Type. The gearbox is decent and the engine itself is quite good, producing 0-62mph in 9.9 seconds. The good suspension makes the ride comfortable and the handling is responsive which makes a used Jaguar X-Type is well worth a look.
