You need to pay even more attention to home based business forums behavioral etiquette than to that in your offline life. I wish that I did not have to say this but be an adult and don’t resort to name calling or rudeness in the forums. Occasionally someone will make an assertion on a forum about a particular product, company, or compensation system that is inaccurate or libelous just because that person is misinformed. Help them get their facts in order by engaging in a rational discussion and ask them to examine the premises on which they have based their conclusion and to determine if either their premises are false or they just don’t logically follow to their conclusion. The worst thing you can do is to call the person a moron or a jerk. Network marketing forums are not like a subway station in which you have an interaction with someone and then never see them again. You are both part of a close knit community and you will likely interact with that person again and if you become enemies then that person can hurt your efforts on the forum by be quick to slam you on every point you make on the forum. Don’t be afraid to assert your points but don’t burn bridges.
