Diet Convention

This is my first convention. I want to know if my parents can drop me off and leave, or whether they need to come to the door with us. I’m going with one friend. I’ve read that you need to have a picture ID present at the door. I’m only 13. Any help? Thanks :3

I am going to an anime convention in san jose california and i need to know how much money i need to bring to spend just at the convention.

The most anime cravers usually spend is up to 100-500 dollars but i have never ever spent that much but i have seen people usually spend bettwen that much

In August, When the Nominee is usually chosen in June or July? Why are the delegates at the convention in Denver?And why does it matter if its only a Half a delegate?

The convention is where the official votes are cast including for vice president which is not decided until then. Furtermore it has happened in the past that no candidate earns the nomination and the selection is left to the delegates at the convention.

But more importantly the convention also votes on the rules that the party will operate under for the next 4 years. If you don’t think that is important see the Michigan and Florida controversy.

Also the party platform is voted on. The platform is the official position of the party on a variety of issues.

I keep hearing on CNN that if John Edwards wins a decent amount of delegates, that he could have power at the convention to be a peace maker or a king maker. Can someone explain this to me?

The theory here is that if Hillary and Obama each have nearly enough delegates to win, but neither actually has enough, Edwards might possibly be able to have a big impact by throwing his delegates to one candidate.

Nice theory, but very unlikely. Edwards probably won’t have many delegates – he’ll have to draw 15 – 20% to have an impact, and he only got 4% in Nevada. Since it’s clear he has no chance to win, his voto isn’t likely to go up much. (If Edwards was able to stay in the low 20s as some polls showed before Iowa, this could have happened.)

It’s much more likely that, if neither Hillary or Obama gains a decisive margin in the primaries, the superdelegates (delegates who are admitted automatically because of their party position, rather than elected in a primary) will hold the balance of power. If that happens, my guess is they’ll go to Obama.

Does anyone know the parking rate for motorcycles at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre? Is it the same as the Per-Entry rate at Suria KLCC? For anyone who knows, thanks in advance!

I noticed that the GOP had a preecher last night and also a few nights ago. Maybe every night but I havent been able to watch all the coverage. I dont remember seeing any clergy at the Dem convention.

Obama wants people to work for 6 hours and to volunteer to help at the convention and or work communty duties in order to get a seat at the convention, what is your view on that ? Don’t you think that is just a bit out of line? If I were a Obama supporter watching the big wigs get out of LIMO’s , while I had to sell Obama campaign pins I would be a bit angry that he is so controlling over his supporters and their actions..
