Beware: the local … Beware: the local tyrants will someday be on the national stage. Stop them now, if you can. (If there aren’t too many of them to be stopped.)
Unfortunately, government is inherently corrupt. No constitution can change or prevent that. Government creates enemies where none should be. As long as people continue to think they need “government leaders,” they will not be nearly as free as they should be. As in all governments, politicians in the U.S. praise freedom even as they kill it.
Was the same in … Was the same in Indiana 3rd district. We even had a hand vote that was counted incorrectly and later found that more votes had been counted then attending delegates. This happened all over the nation. It more then likely was all planned in advance. I hope those dirty s burn for this treason. Any government official who premeditates breaking the laws of electoral process should be tried and convicted of treason.
Convene a Public … Convene a Public Grand Jury under Common Law indite the chairman have him removed from ever serving in public office again, and have all decisions made at that meeting thrown out.
It was the same … It was the same here in Kentucky. Ignore the rules. Ignore the Point Of Order objections. Gavel down any dissent. Railroad the party agenda through the convention against the will of the majority.
This is just pure evil.
I was warned ahead of time that 70% or more would be needed, even though 51% is all that the rules would require, and now I see why. When they own the gavel and the amplified microphone, they can call voice votes as they please, refuse calls to count the votes, etc.
It seems to me that … It seems to me that the Credential Chairman (to my understanding a person to take care and advise others of their honest earned wealth), made statements here that are not within the realm of ‘doing the right thing’ ….
He was given an award for taking one for the team. I have nothing against him, but what does he and the leadership stand for?
He’s too young to take the sword like others that have gone before him. We all made mistakes at his age, but probably didn’t carry others fortunes.
LOL…and … LOL…and apparently they had to add non-registered voters AND people who had voted in the Democratic primary to the delegate list in order to make sure they out voted us! How blatantly corrupt is this?!
To everyone out … To everyone out there:
Please understand that this is not an isolated incident. Apparently the Nueces County people were following the direction of the state party officials. If you would like to help stop this illegal behavior contact the Attorney General and the Department of Justice – DEMAND AN INVESTIGATION. Share the story – INSIST THE GUILTY BE DISCIPLINED!!!
The Texas … The Texas Republican Party is just as Corrupt as the Federal Government.
After the precinct caucus, Bertuzzi and others illegally added 151 delegates to the county convention. They did so because, without those illegal “delegates,” the Ron Paul delegates would have outnumbered them.
haha that’s funny … haha that’s funny cuz i was there and the seats were bolted down. lolz. i have video of the actual convention but i can’t figure out a way to make it on to youtube from “quicktime”
Two years ago this … Two years ago this same tactic was used in Gillespie County, Texas by the County Chairman, Pauline Cusack. A number of us fought it, challenging what they did at the state convention. But, we did not hold a rump convention. The Credentials Committee ejected the County Chairman and the county Credentials Committee Chairman from the state convention, but refused to throw out the entire, illegal delegation, as required by law.
The RPTX is thoroughly corrupt.
As a Texas … As a Texas Republican, and delegate, I hope the Republican party respects the rules- if they just shut out those who don’t agree with the party rulers, we may as well just eliminate the delegate system and let the elite TELL US what to believe…
I just returned from the Washington State Convention, and, although there were some contentious times due to some percieved shenanigans, it was nowhere near this.
to crock703: Yes : … to crock703: Yes Texas is becoming aware of this, but not nearly as much as the rest of the world. But the awakening is happening.
