It’s ironic (and …
It’s ironic (and sad) that they made a reappearance in the spotlight after 9/11 by talking about Islamic extremism. Some people actually listened to their extremist, anti-extremist ranting!

This country is so …
This country is so much better off for all of their efforts, isn’t it?
What a bunch of losers…
When are we collectively going to come to terms with fanaticism like this, and call if for what it is – mental illness.
The only thing that makes any/all of these people BAD PEOPLE, is the fact that they rise to the cause through political channels.
Regan was a douche bag for doing this to America.

How exactly in the …
How exactly in the name of do you “logically” derive mental and physical abuse from the right of adults to marry whomever they love?
I gotta tell you… I’m not following that “logic.”

Damn Xtian nutjobs. …
Xtian nutjobs. All of them are sick in the head and need help. Thankfully, the US is becoming more and more secular, and there’s not a thing these facist whackos can do to stop it. Maybe we’ll actually MAKE IT to the 21st century, after all.

It will be a fine day when all the religious-right nutcases come out of the closet. Then we won’t have to deal with this sh1t anymore.

Strict monogamy is the exception for straight people too. Trust me, I know.

What backup is …
What backup is there for the notion that legal same-sex marriage will lead to legal marriage between adults and children? Just because you said it?
Comparing homosexuality to pedophilia is retarded. One involves consensual relations, the other doesn’t.

your religious and …
your religious and spiritual beliefs are fine. no one is telling you to marry a gay man! no one will ever tell you that. are you that uncomfortable about your own sexuality? im straight and fine with gay marriage. what scares you so much?this may be a just an ertion but i bet you never met a gay person. i mean really meet a gay person. i have and ill tell you now there definatly nothing to be afraid of. now most of these speakers in this video…be afraid of them!

no what hurts society is government even getting its hands in the personal love life of people. remember when government didnt allow interracial marriage? that was not good nor fair now was it? the argument to keep the segregation laws going is the exact same argument your giving me now about gays. floodgates my .

yes of course thats …
yes of course thats the next logical step! dont ask how that logic came to be! but its god logical! the difference is that gay couples are between two consenting adults of legal age. childeren are not adults therefore cannot give their consent to have sex and marry someone. gays are not animals or psychos, they are people who want to live their lives in peace with their consenting partner.

For example, if gay …
For example, if gay marriage is enacted, the next logical step would be to legalize marriages between adults and children (aka pedophilia). After all, who is to say what is true love anyway? The effect on the psyche of children who have been molested is well documented. Unfortunately, those children often grow up and engage in other dangerous behaviors such as crime, drug use, and prostitution. Such behavior could in fact have an adverse effect on society.

Homosexual behavior on a personal level does little harm to society. However, government-backed legalization of deviant behavior opens the floodgates for all sorts of other mess that does could harm society.

ABdadaSURD, the problem with your argument is that unlike homosexuality, hair and skin color are self-evident physical traits (not behaviors) that do not interfere with the ability of a man and woman to reproduce.

also, the black men …
also, the black men are typically not marrying the women they impregnate. its fair to say if we have gay marriage, the value of marriage within the black community, and especially to black men, will further be marginalized, since most black men are very much opposed to same sex marrage and view it as abnormal.

strict monogamy is …
strict monogamy is the exception rather than the rule among homosexuals. A recent survey found infidelity in about 62 percent of gay couples, which led researchers in the Journal of Family Psychology to write, The practice of sexual nonmonogamy among some gay couples is one variable that differentiates gay and heterosexual couples.

the main issue is …
the main issue is not homosexual monogamy, it is homosexual behavior. Homosexual acts are inherently unhealthy, whether done with one partner or many. This is especially true of sexual acts between males. Anal intercourse, for example, causes a host of inherent health problems simply because the organs involved do not tolerate this act well.

Obviously homosexuals aren’t polygamists theyre homosexuals. My question is why is it ok to redefine marriage for homosexuals and not polygamists who are in a loving relationship?
August 12th, 2009 at 10:17 pm
and you have yet to …
and you have yet to state HOW homosexuals harm society. Its just like back in the old days when they said a free black man would harm society yet they didnt know how he would because they just wanted to believe he would. well they were wrong…black people dont harm society and we have finally learned that much. hopefully one day people will realize homosexuality is a ridiculous thing to get all scared and -faced about (pardon my language)

first of all who …
first of all who gives a ? its not the governments place to say who can do what in respect to relationships. Imagine if there was a law that you couldn’t fall in love and marry the girl of your dreams because the law said a blond guy could marry a brunette(i dunno if your blond or whatever this is a hypothetical example). Second of all homosexuals arent polygamists they’re homosexual.
