Bristol Palin has chosen to have babies with young unmarried teen boys and then deny the baby a father. Is that really a lifestyle we should have highlighted at the GOP Convention? Wouldn’t it have been better to just let her learn morals and values in private?
It was the liberals who were making a big deal about it. All the Palins were doing was showing that they were not about to hide from the sleazy media and their liberal allies.

It’s Democrats who made a big deal out of a pregnant teenager. They are just angry that she won’t be a supporter of them or on welfare. People like Bristol are usually a lock vote for the Democrats but her situation angers them because she will not be on the dark side.

That is called "real life". Life is what it is not what you’d like it to be.
A better thing to do for any party would be to educate the young and not to expect them to do something most can’t (abstinence). You can’t stop people from having sex but you can show them intelligent ways to do it.
She was a great example of what NOT to do.

I am proud of my family no matter what the situation and so was Palin. Don’t try to play the hindsight is 20/20 game as we can always see the problems after the fact. She made a choice and whether you or anyone else has a problem with it, it really boils down to none of your business.

She had one baby with one young man. She’s human, as we all are. It was brave of Bristol to attend the convention. She deserves kudos for it. And really, do you honestly believe that attempting to "hide" her pregnancy would have worked? I’m a liberal and I see nothing negative in her attending. Somehow, I suspect you are no Republican. This kind of stuff will not heal our nation.

She chose to go on fox & give a 2 or 3 part interview with Greta Van Sustren. She told that her mother was pro-choice when it came to her having a choice but she chose to have the baby. Which is what many young people do cause they are clueless as to what that really means in the grand scheme of their life. So now Sarah has 2 babies at home. We all know that the other one was her other daughter’s baby cause the fact that her daughter was hidden in the house during that time & supposed to have mono is BS. Plus, Sarah never looked pregnant & not even her sisters, parents no one knew she was pregnant. So good for the GOP for allowing another embarrassment to their downfall. She is a great role model for the republican families. She says abstinence is not realistic.

I don’t think it was "immoral" per se, it was their choice although she will learn either way. But, it is ridiculous to do so and then when the inevitable break up occurs between Bristol and the boyfriend expect the Left to not notice or pick up on it and the hypocrisy of it. I feel sorry for the kid and as much as I can’t stand Palin, it is a good thing Bristol has a loving family behind her if she is going to do this on her own. She is going to need the support!

News reports like this one make me feel bad for Bristol, even though I am not a Republican. She seems to have been used by her mother and the GOP to push their agenda. They should not have paraded her out in public like that.

And why is it teen pregnancy is higher for young people from Republican families than from Democratic families?—EASY, Republican teens give the baby a chance at life. The Democratic teens don’t let the pregnancy become public knowledge, they abort. Therefore, the statistics are incorrect. It’s probably about even, it’s just some babies are allowed to live, some are not. Some pregnancies are never even known about, the baby is killed.
