What Is This 6 Hours Of Volunteer Work To Get a Seat At The Convention About?

Posted by admin on October 27th, 2009 and filed under convention at | 8 Comments »

Obama wants people to work for 6 hours and to volunteer to help at the convention and or work communty duties in order to get a seat at the convention, what is your view on that ? Don’t you think that is just a bit out of line? If I were a Obama supporter watching the big wigs get out of LIMO’s , while I had to sell Obama campaign pins I would be a bit angry that he is so controlling over his supporters and their actions..

I agree. A preview of what can be expected under Socialism.

He’s just encouraging us to pull ourselves up by our bootstraps and do hard work. Isn’t that what Republicans are always advising?

People who want to see him speak are people who like him. It’s still free, and if you’re too lazy to put in six hours then you don’t deserve to go.

PS, you can go without volunteering. If you volunteer, you are eligible for better seats.

Surely Obama’s campaign can’t be fascist. But, think of the mailing list that will be generated from the requirement. A marketing genius came up with that one.

The initial lottery that Hussein Obama was having was in direct violation of some of the most basic election laws. In fact, those laws were implemented some time around the end of the Civil War. I think they were enacted to protect the freed slaves. I think they were called the Jim Crow laws. So now you blacks, if you have a black president that would openly and directly do something that harmed blacks in the past, you know those down with the struggle, how happy can you be?

Anyway, back to the question. Since Hussein Obama was basically buying votes with tickets to the convention, he had to make those wanting the tickets actually do something for the tickets so he could say you EARNED the tickets and they were PAYMENT for services done.

Again, even with the changes, it smells of impropriety. There should be an investigation about this.

So what? They’re all like that, it’s just the others don’t bring attention to it. Bush came to our city in 2004 and the only people that were allowed in the stands around him were people who had volunteered for him.

It makes sense if you think about it. Someone who wants to get close so they can protest or otherwise cause trouble will probably not put in time volunteering for his campaign to get there. I think it’s a great idea.
