    But over the years …
But over the years Tyson turned into nothing more than a sad cartoon character with his tatoos near covering his face and talking empty smack to his opponents (IF he’s even still fighting at 43 years of age).

  2. Krazy3912 Says:

    Tyson used to …
Tyson used to excite the outta me during the late 80s. I watched him JUST to see how fast he’d knock ers out.

    Today? All these …
Today? All these bums want is a paycheck. Too much hype, bad judges, politics….you name it. Boxing (especially the heavyweight division) has suffered a black eye. After Tyson bit Holyfield’s ears I stopped watching boxing. :-(

  4. Krazy3912 Says:

    Yeah….those were …
Yeah….those were the days in which I used to stop whatever I was doing at the time to watch the heavyweight fights.

Sadly….I didn’t get into the Ali fights until he entered the graybeard years….but during the Holmes era….I remember watching guys go about these matches like the gladiators that they were.

    yeah but you gotta …
yeah but you gotta admit—it wouldve been really interesting to see the prime, real early 80s Larry Holmes fight Tyson. Instead Tyson kicked Holmes like Holmes kicked Muhammad Ali . Holmes shouldve just called it a day after Spinks, but these guys dont know when to quit (I think Holmes didnt even retire for good until about 1995).
