JW – Your backward thinking is not consistent with the Democratic Party. Palin SUPPORTED the Bridge while she was campaigning for governor, and it was a major issue then.
Steadway – She only rejected it after Congress threatened to cut off funding. She waited until the very end to flop on the national issue. Now, what about the earmarks she devoured for the most insignificant pursuits?

edit: factcheck.org is always on my toolbar…it is a good resource for Republicans who want to use FACTS to oppose Obama’s exaggerations as well…

Sorry, but what the hell does she have to do with it? She didn’t request it, it was introduced by Senator Stevens an voted on by the senate, Both Obama and Biden voted for it. Palin never had authority to vote for or request anything to do with that bridge.
So, I suggest you build a bridge and get over it. This issue is dead and its making you guys look freaking stupid everytime you try an spin it to make her look bad.
As a Democrat that’s voting for McCain I find that you young Democrats do not represent the Democrat party that I have been a part of for the last 30+ years. I find the bullshite attacks to be disgusting and I honestly hope you people get the hell out of my party and go somewhere else.

However, Obama and Biden supported the funding. McCain however never supported the funding.
So Obama still fails and McCain still win.
