Their careers represent hundreds of years of cumulative military leadership – and every one of them outrank the highest rank that McCain acheived in his military career.
Would THAT MANY Generals be endorsing Obama if they thought he didn’t have the wisdom or experience to be Commander in Chief?
Do you think, despite all of their service to your country, they all hate America too, like some say Obama does?
U.S. Patriot – Part of patriotism is being informed before making a statement or a decision. You haven’t found anyone who thinks Obama has the wisdom or experience to lead America? Obviously you’ve totally ignored the news, and despite the fact that it was in the question you’re supposedly asking, the 28 Generals who endorsed him at the Democratic convention. Don’t let your hatred blind you so much that you can’t even read, or listen to anyone else – patriot or not.
Senior-whatever… So, you checked the history on all of these U.S. Generals in just the last few minutes between when I asked the question and you answered it? Congratulations – that’s the fastest research I’ve ever heard of. How about we try the truth for a change, whether it fits our world-view or not?
I was listening to NPR tonight, and they were taking callers regarding Obama. One caller was an elderly gentlemen, retired, and served in WWII. He was thrilled to vote for Obama, and says he hasn’t been this involved in an election since Truman. That says something right there.

I haven’t found anyone who thinks Obama has the wisdom or experience to lead. That’s an issue avoided by Hillary in her speech and everyone else in the Obama camp. The argument from the left is "uhhh…he may not have any experience but uh… at least he’s not Bush!"

Wow, are you actually trying to compare 28 to the THOUSANDS of retired US Army personnel who support McCain?
NO ONE in my battalion supports Obama. Not even self-identified Democrats. He doesn’t talk to us, he talks at us.
Maybe McCain wasn’t the best soldier – but at least he understands.

No, they are not communist and neither is Obama. They are ALL misguided and if you check their records they were political hacks when on active duty.

dunno….but their presence seemed a little desperate…don’t you think?
I mean they could have certainly been lost among all the other pretty decorations at this latest over-scripted, over-produced show….but I’m sure they were intended to implant thoughts just like the ones implied in your "question"…
now….about that candidate…..what cumulative anything does he have that outranks McCain….?
Showtime’s over….it’s substance time…

Explainer estimates that about 4,700 general officers are enjoying their retirement in the United States right now. so "THAT MANY" as you put it is a FEW not the MAJORITY, you of all people should know that as in earlier posts you said you were in the military at one time
Vote McCain in 08 where the 4,672 retired Generals support our great nation
U.S.ARMY 101st Airborne and I approve this message
