Reaganisc! I …
Reaganisc! I witnessed this speech. I regained faith in young Americans, regardless where they were born.

Follow-up to my …
Follow-up to my comment above. I now know Adnan personally. I can personally testify that Adnan does not use a teleprompter. He speaks with passion and from the heart. I can say that his “Impossible Is Nothing” speech or modified forms of it have been delivered several times since the Convention. He is a smart young man and knows how to deliver a speech without using any teleprompters. Its called practice, practice, practice!

If one or two of …
If one or two of the professors (or even students) at Virginia Tech had been carrying personal firearms, the shooter could have been stopped, and many lives could have been saved. But instead, all people could do was cower behind desks and get shot like fish in a barrel. THAT is tragic.

What does Bob McDonnell have to do with Virginia Tech?

I shouldn’t think …
I shouldn’t think so. His very first sentence said something about the troops fighting for America’s freedoms on the streets of Baghdad. Agree or disagree with the war, you can’t claim that it is being fought for the freedom of American citizens. The security, perhaps. The freedom, hardly. It sounded rather propaganda-ish, and frankly untrue — careless at best, dissimulating at worst. I confess to not having listened further, so if later points of the speech inspired you, my apologies.

Virginia has very …
Virginia has very strict gun laws but doesn’t not ban people who have never committed a crime from having them. Also crazy nuts and criminals don’t care about the law by definition. It seems to me it was our Democrat candidates that would have crazy nut criminal felons voting.

Tell that to the …
Tell that to the Iraqi’s now. I did not see how he hates the middle east. He doesn’t have to hate the middle east to love America. He is a winner because he doesn’t embroil himself in the bitterness and anger that keeps those down in his homeland. Also the US liberated Kuwait. Listen to this man’s message it is a message of individuality and personal responsibility. A message rooted in the principles of the founding of this country.

He is endorsing Bob …
He is endorsing Bob McDonnell because he believes in himself and his country. What did Bob McDonnell have to do with Virginia Tech. A crazed student happened to Virginia tech. You are the problem. Always looking to misassign blame and wear the flag of victimhood. This man is a winner and Bob McDonnell is a winner. They both have won because they work hard and do the right thing rather than making excuses for doing the wrong thing and lifting up human weakness as merit.

But I’m just …
But I’m just against his actions. The most puzzling thing to me is how on earth is he ENDORSING Bob McDonnel after what happened at Virginia Tech! His own alma matter! It’s awful, just awful.

With all due …
With all due respect, the US didn’t do any ‘liberation’. I think it’s unwise to still pretend like we think they went in to ‘liberate’ when even republican themsevles know they went in for the oil, and to show China and the EU that they still have the upperhand. Liberation never was and never will involve the death of over 1 million innocent people and the torture of innocent people in prisons (Abu ghraib). I personally have nothing against Adnan Barqawi, he seems to be very eloquently outspoken

The US liberated 50 million in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Also, wait a minute …
Also, wait a minute, he’s endorsing the war in Iraq and Afghanistan? him being Palestinean should make him do the opposite. I think he’s got some personal issues with Kuwait (i.e them not giving him citizenship) that caused him to be all ‘ I hate the middle east’ even though he is middle eastern! It’s great that he’s American and all now, but common, at join the democrats (way more logical, awesome, and don’t go around killing innocent people around the world).

Wait a minute? …
Wait a minute? Didn’t that kid go to Tech? isn’t Bob McDonnell the reason the massacre happened (loose gun laws and all). So he’s endorsing a man, who’s laws lead to the death of 32 of his school mates? very wise!

I have read much of what you have written in this string your rants are hateful as well as demonstratively (and laughably) false. Funny how a patriotic young man can trigger such anger and hate in a liberal. Whether or not you respond, Ill not waste any more time on such a pathetic creature.

This is an extraordinary young man, one who understands what it means to be an American, what it means to have freedom and the necessity to defend it. I am very proud to welcome him as an American. I am sure he has a bright future.
I hope this video reaches a wide audience.

On 30 May Adnan …
On 30 May Adnan Barqawi a newly minted and proud American got up to speak before other proud Americans. He spoke about gratitude, freedom, and opportunity. He is living a life that isn’t possible anywhere else on earth. Anyone who would insult or degrade him for that is a pathetic detesstable creature. America is unique among all nations – we have nothing to apologize for.

not at all weapon …
not at all weapon makers only, bankers – bscly. the entire power nobility – and their problem later was certainly not that he took peoples freedoms, america only narrowly escaped a fascist overthrow of its own
to obama: read my answer to nhic.. below -.-, its a fascist system, both branches of the business party are part of it, and its not new, its funny how you get riled up about obama when he is really just continuing the clinton/bush policies, partly even verbatim (speeches..)

Nazis came to power …
Nazis came to power & spent huge sums on make-work projects vastly expanding the national debt – sound familiar? The Hitler fan club was entirely made up of weapons makers & related industries it only lasted a few years. Privately owned business suffered ruinous taxes. Government czars mandated production quotas. He was loved for brining order to the chaos by taking everyone’s freedom – later there were 41 plots on his life – now people like you hurl him around as an insult.

yeah after “you” …
yeah after “you” had given him weapons and order to start a desastrous war and watched him letting hundreds of thousands of people starve, saddam hussein is a creature of america, but your main misconception is that “you” are the nation and that there is a nation, its the wealthy ruling elite using your kids for their purposes, almost all of americas wars were class wars rich against poor, and obviously they still do a great job of selling the bullshit to you
