I love the Full house LP. For some strange reason I only saw Fairports once – in 1978. I didn’t know what to expect – this was the height of punk rock after all. They were amazing – infact the two LPs they made for Vertigo at this time are great. Swarbrick was incredible that night.

Wasn’t that a fkn phenomenal performance from Dave Swarbrick! Wasn’t it good to see Richard Thompson in the ‘Henry the Human Fly’ days. “Wheely Down’ from that Richard Thompson debut album still gives me the chills (although not on this vid), and such great sound mixing (comparatively). The other parts of this series are equally well mixed, a rarity for most vids of this era. Classic material, thanks smorodina, u r obviously well educated!
