Problem Statement
How has the State of Texas’ new emphasis on standardized testing affected employment skills training at the High School for Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice?

Hypothesis
Texas’ new found commitment to standardized testing leads to a reduced effort in employment skills training programs thereby ill preparing those students who choose not to attend college for the job market.

The variables in my initial problem statement were those of individual economic status, peer group influence and family contribution. In an attempt to determine whether race serves as a barometer to determine the extent to which one group attends motivational seminars over another.
