Does it work ? "To help to keep the peace"

Well, when terrorists cut heads off of people and give the footage to our esteemed media, it apparently results in honors. Not that this is torture or anything. Only America does that.

the other countries that have power on the international courts have given us a grace period to bring to justice the war crimes that have occurred. They do have jurisdiction to call the former president before war crimes tribunals at the Hague.

Its a set of rules for warfare. What happens if you breach it depends on wether you win the war or not. If you win, noting much happens, if you lose your leader could got to trial in The Hague and maybe prison after that.

basically that in a war situation enemy combatants and their civilian population are accorded humane treatment. If u lose then u face a tribunal from the victorious side..and vice versa

It is rules in which ones are to abide by when they capture enemy soldiers. The prisoners of war(POW)have certain rights when held captive. Such as red Cross packages, letters home, medical attention for those that are injured. Sadly many of the country’s that we end up getting into war with didn’t attend the meting in Geneva or they have decided not to recognize them. thus they are then held as war crimes and then when found guilt they are executed or placed in a prison for a long time. In WW2 many were places in prison some were hanged. In the more recent SH as hanged for war crimes against humanity. Also the POW to held to certain rules also. Such as the code of conduct, they are all tough them but how many can uphold there part of it. We are only human and can only take so much punishment before we tell all. One must remember lose lips sink ships.
