How does lowering … How does lowering taxes help the economy? The poor have more money to go out and buy that was made in China and the wealthy have more money to build more sweatshops overseas. What helps the economy is raising taxes and pouring that money into schools and also using it to help people start their own businesses so that we can become a more productive nation and start improving the trade deficit.
