In the French Revolution, did the National Convention make taxation for all people?

Thank you!

If it wasn’t the National Convention, who was it, and did it ever happen?

The Revolution has led to all the freedom, not taxes.
The state made do with the "assigned" and the requisition of the goods of the Church and the nobles, as well as the spoils of conquest….
