“Dog Attack Fatally Injures Toddler” by Los Angeles Accident Attorney
A 3-year-old boy is dead after his family’s pit bull attacked and killed him in his own backyard. According to an Associated Press news report, the child’s father was with the toddler in their backyard. The father briefly stepped inside the home and left the child alone with their pit bull. That’s when the dog viciously attacked the boy and caused the fatal injuries. When firefighters arrived on scene, the boy was unresponsive. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The pit bull was shot and killed by police officers.
